I’ve been working in IT Networking and Security since the 1990’s. In that time, I have worked for large corporations, small companies, city and county governments, school districts, non-profit organizations and banks.

In 2021, during the height of the pandemic, I moved my family from Omaha Nebraska to a small rural area in Tennessee. I have continued to work in networking, and cloud, remotely.

My recent focus is on helping to teach technical and profession topics at local high schools in the area. I have created a syllabus that teaches how to create network resources in Azure, how to configure the network and secure them. The local students love the course! They are the next generation of network professionals.

I don’t need to work for big companies and I don’t need fancy titles. I just want to continue to do the network work that I love, troubleshoot issues that keep my brain sharp and get joy from completing tasks.
